A snow job

So when does one's faith in the weathermen completely disappear?  I distinctly remember last night's 11:12 PM weather forecast mentioning a 50% chance of a dusting of snow, maybe accumulating to an inch this afternoon.

Guess what, it started snowing early this morning, and conditions have continued to get worse as the day has drifted into the afternoon.

As you can see from these pictures, it is snowing pretty hard.  I would guess we have somewhere between two and three inches of snow.

It is hard to figure how we could have gone from clear blue skies last night to snow this morning with the weather folks just giving us a chance of snow this afternoon.

This does not look like a chance of snow to me, it looks like a bunch of Canadian snow wandering around the wrong state.

I wonder how those duck hunters did who launched their boat this morning about 5:00 AM?

When they backed their boat into the water, their headlights reflected on our bedroom ceiling and woke me.

If there are crazier folks than duck hunters, I don't want to know about it.
